    • General

      • Melee Basic Attacks

      • Damage Type: Magical

      • Scaling Type: Intelligence Scaling

    • Passive: Good Fortune

      • Anytime you deal a killing blow, the nearest allied god receives the credit and you receive the rewards for an assist instead plus a bonus amount of gold. In addition, your assist range and the time before you lose assist credit is increased.

    • Ability 1: Turn of Fate

      • Send a curse forward dealing Magical Damage to enemies it passes through. For each enemy hit, all nearby allied gods gain Bonus Damage.

        • Enemy gods are marked for 5s. Any Hard Crowd Control effect consumes the mark to deal bonus Magical Damage.

    • Ability 2: Ohm

      • Rise into the lotus position Silencing enemies in front of you and increasing Protections of nearby allied gods.

        • Ganesha gains an additional 50% of the protections he provides

        • You are Displacement Immune while channeling

    • Ability 3: Remove Obstacles

      • Dash forward dealing Magical Damage to enemy minions you pass through stopping on enemy gods, holding them in place before Knocking them Up.

        • While Dashing you pass through ultimate player made walls and destroy non-ultimate player made walls.

    • Ultimate Ability: Dharmic Pillars

      • Summon 4 Great Pillars to imprison your enemies. Enemies that pass the field between each pillar take an initial hit of Magical Damage, are Slowed, and have their Protections reduced.

        • Enemies continue to take Magical Damage if they stay in the field

        • Minions take 40% reduced damage from this ability

    • Aspect releasing June 20

      • Aspect of the Triumphant

        • Ohm no longer silences but deals damage to enemies in front of you and provides yourself and allies Movement Speed. Turn of Fate’s mark now only procs the next time you hit the marked enemy with an ability. Additionally you no longer bestow kills to allies but each god kill provides permanent Cooldown Rate.

Quality of Life and New Player Improvements

  • Graphical settings will automatically adjust for new PC players based on their system performance

  • Players will now auto-bypass the login screen if the servers are active; we saved you a click every time you log in!

  • Players’ last-played queue will now be remembered in online settings. If you last played Joust on PC and then go to play on Xbox, Joust should be the selected queue.

  • Added a button to Close the Settings menu

  • Several Match Lobby clean-ups have been made for better clarity:

    • Activate Boost is only visible in Assault

    • Change Role is only visible in Conquest

    • Role Tabs are only visible in Conquest

    • Owned Gods are always sorted to the top of the list

    • Added a button to close the filter tab

  • Aspects are disabled until a player reaches Account Level 5

    • Aspects are generally slightly more complicated or slightly more niche than a God’s core kit. We want to make sure players are a little more comfortable with SMITE before introducing the idea of Aspects.

  • Players will automatically Autobuild (including a Relic selection) until reaching Account Level 5

    • Similarly, forcing new players to click through selecting an Autobuild (or accidentally turning on Manual Build) and Relic was unnecessary complexity at this point in their learning journey.

  • Relic descriptions on the pre-game Relic Selection Screen have been simplified

    • This text is intended to help players quickly understand and decide which Relic to purchase. The full text is still available via tooltips.

  • Help Text should now be more obvious

    • The old color treatment was very easy for new players to miss

  • New Players will default to a new “Action Camera” perspective

    • We believe that new players will be better served by a camera with a narrower FOV, which makes targets in front of them appear bigger and allows combat to be easier to read

    • This should not affect current players, who may prefer the wider FOV currently used, which allows you to see more happening off to the sides at the expense of making things in front of you smaller

    • This is just the first test of this camera, and further changes may occur

    • If you want to change your camera setting, go to Settings > Gameplay and find Action Camera at the bottom of the list

  • Added “Good for New Players” tags to the Free Rotation Gods

  • Number Summing

    • If a single ability deals multiple instances of damage, those damage numbers will now add together

    • For example: If Anubis 1 deals 30 damage per tick, it will show 30, then 60, then 90 instead of showing 30 three times

    • This can be disabled in Settings

  • Directional Damage Indicators

    • A red arrow will appear on the HUD and point towards Gods when they damage you

    • The size of this arrow is scaled to the damage dealt, and will increase in size as you are dealt additional damage

    • This can be disabled in Settings

General

  • Wandering Market Coins can now be purchased for 100% Legacy Gems, and the price has been reduced from 650 Diamonds (or 325 Legacy Gems + 325 Diamonds) to 300 Diamonds (or 300 Legacy Gems) for 500 Coins.

    • Aspect of the Devourer - Releasing June 23

      • Your non-ultimate abilities now provide Mana when damaging enemies, instead of spending it. I’m a Monster can only be used when at full Mana, consuming all of it. It no longer provides Movement Speed, but now can be fired up to 3 times and the damage scales from your Max Mana. I’m a Monster stacks now immediately provide Max Mana and at max rank you gain bonus Mana.

  • Thor’s ability targeters have received a visual upgrade

  • Odin’s ability targeters have received a visual upgrade

Game Modes

  • Conquest

    • Jungle XP Changes

    • Junglers were gaining XP at a much higher rate than the other lanes, oftentimes resulting in up to two level advantages just from jungle farm alone.

      • Reduced base XP on Elder Harpies from 80 to 74

      • Reduced base XP on Small Harpies from 20 to 14

      • Reduced base XP on Roaming Harpies from 58 to 50

    • Lane XP Changes

    • Due to the fix to the “lowest level XP split bonus” mechanic (listed below), we wanted to make sure the timing for hitting level two was still preserved.

      • Increased base XP on Melee/Brute minions from 45 to 48

      • Increased base XP on Ranged minions from 25 to 28

    • Fixed bonus assist XP being handed out at the start of the match to players getting the lowest amount of XP

    • This fix resolves the inconsistency with how players were earning XP at the start of the match.

      • This mechanic should now activate at two minutes into the match

  • Joust

    • Increased kill assist range from 12.8m to 19.2m (Smite 1 parity)

    • Increased Fire Minion damage vs other Minions

  • Assault

    • Yogi’s Necklace has been disabled from this game mode
